Owners may have pets in their units under the following conditions.

a. The owner of each unit may keep no more than two small pets of a normal domesticated household type such a cat or dog not to exceed 25 pounds each or one larger dog not to exceed 75 pounds.

b. The pet(s) must be carried under the owner's arm or be leashed at all times while on the condominium property outside of the unit. The ability to keep such pet(s) is a privilege, not a right, and the Board of Directors is empowered to order and enforce the removal of any pet(s) which do not comply with this paragraph, or which become a source of annoyance to other residents of the condominium.

c. No reptiles, rodents, amphibians, poultry, or livestock may be kept in the condominium. d. Guests may not bring their pets into a unit.

e. Owners who walk their pets must clean up after them.

f. Cleaning up after a pet means picking up their droppings, putting them in a plastic bag such as a sealable baggie, sealing the bag and disposing of it in the owner's own trash can or in one of the dumpsters.

g. Under no circumstances may a pet's droppings be shoveled under bushes, trees, left on the premises, or put in the lake. Neither is it acceptable to put the droppings in the dumpster without sealing them in a plastic bag.

h. Dog owners please note: Bagging, sealing, and properly disposing of dog droppings are a requirement throughout Pelican Marsh, not just Les Chateaux. Therefore, if you walk your dog outside Les Chateaux gates, you are required by the Pelican Marsh Master Association to follow the same procedures as outlined above.

i. Pets may not be left unattended or leashed on lanais, entries, Common Association areas, in garages, or on any part of the Les Chateaux common area.

j. Pets are not allowed in the clubhouse or in the fenced area around the pool.

k. Lessees or lessees' guests may not have pets under any circumstances.

1. Owners may lease their units no more than one (1) time in any year, with the minimum lease term being ninety (90) days. No lease may be for a period of more than one (1) year, and no option for the lessee to extend or renew the lease for any additional period shall be permitted without approval from the Board of Directors of Les Chateaux Condominium Association at Pelican Marsh, Inc. The Board may, at its discretion, approve the same lease from year to year.

2. No subleasing or assignment of lease rights by the lessee is allowed without written approval from the Board of Directors of Les Chateaux Condominium Association at Pelican Marsh, Inc.

3. Owners may lease only their entire unit. No leasing of a portion of a unit is allowed.

4. The Board of Directors must approve any lease or sale of a unit. Applications for lease or sale along with the $150.00 application fee must be submitted to Newell Property Management at 5435 Jaeger Rd #4 Naples 34109.

5. After an application for lease or sale is submitted, the Board shall approve or disapprove the sale or lease within 20 days.

6. The Board of Directors may require an interview with a prospective purchaser or prospective lessee before approval of sale or lease.
