(a) Owners may keep commonly accepted household pets, such as dogs, cats, tropical fish, or caged birds, in their units in reasonable numbers, subject to the Board's regulations. Breeds prohibited by law or deemed dangerous or a nuisance by the Board are not permitted. The Board may impose reasonable restrictions on how and where pets may be present within common areas.
(b) Pets must be leashed or carried under the Owner's arm at all times while outside of the Owner's Unit and may only be transported in the building using the service elevator. When exiting, pets must do so from the right side. Pets waiting for the elevator must stand along the wall, to the right of the entrance.
(c) Any pet that becomes a source of annoyance or danger to other residents, as determined by the Board in its reasonable discretion, may be required to be removed from the premises. Garage Unit Owners are not permitted to keep pets in the Garage Unit.
(d) The fine for a violation of this Rule is $100 per day, or per violation, as applicable.
