Golden Gate Estates is a 172 square mile area roughly located east of Logan Blvd, South of Immokalee Road and north of I-75 (Alligator Alley). This rural neighborhood features large lots, at least 1.14 acres and up, that provide residents with privacy and seclusion while still being just a short drive to the Gulf of Mexico beaches and downtown Naples. Due to the large lot sizes, horses are allowed to be kept. Many homes have large outbuildings, shops, detached garages or offices detached from the home.>
Wetlands is a concern in Golden Gate Estates. This doesn't mean that a lot isn't buildable but rather a special ERP permit is required.
For active residents, the Picayune Strand State Forest and Belle Meade are two parks that offer horse trails, hiking trails and excellent places to watch nature. Golden Gate Estates also has a number of stores, gas stations, Publix grocery store and more. It is growing every year!
