• Commonly accepted household pets, such as dogs, cats and birds may be kept in reasonable numbers. All animals shall be contained on the Owner's Plot and shall not be permitted to roam freely.

• Commercial activities involving pets shall not be allowed. The Foundation, with regard to Commercial Lots and Plots, may establish limits on the number and kind of pets that may be kept or permitted to be kept on any Plot or Lot.

• No horses, cows, hogs, pigs, swine, goats, chickens, pigeons or any other such animals, fowl or reptiles shall be kept on any of The Properties.

The Lease of a Plot (including a Property Unit) is defined as occupancy of the Plot by any Person other than the Owner, whether pursuant to verbal or written agreement, where said occupancy by the non-owner involves consideration (the payment of money, the exchange of goods or services, or any other exchange of value). The term "leasing" and "renting" shall be used interchangeably for the purpose of this Declaration. The term "Tenant" and "Lessee" shall likewise be used interchangeably. All Leases must be in writing. Should an Owner wish to Lease his (Plot), he shall furnish the Association with a copy of the proposed Lease, the name of the proposed Tenant, the names of all proposed Residents, and such other information as the Association may reasonably require. Any Person occupying the Plot as a Resident after initial approval shall be subject to a separate application and approval process. The Association shall have thirty (30) days from the receipt of notice and all required information within which to approve or disapprove of the proposed Lease or proposed Tenants or Resident. The Association shall give the Owner written notice of its decision within said period. No individual rooms may be rented and no transient tenants may be accommodated. "Rent-sharing" and subleasing are prohibited. All Leases shall be for a minimum period of two (2) continuous calendar months. No more than two (2) Lease occupancies per calendar year are permitted. Leases may be extended or renewed, subject to Board approval. No Owner, nor anyone on their behalf, shall publish or cause to be published any advertisement of any type in any form of media, including, but not limited to, television, radio, internet, website, newspaper, magazine, or trade publication, that indicates that a Plot may be leased for anything less than the minimum period of two (2) continuous calendar months.
