Pets are not permitted in Club buildings or facilities, including, without limitation, the Clubhouse, pool area, tennis and other courts, Restaurant and Lanai, Grill, offices and game rooms, Pro Shop, recreation facilities, and the Divot. All pets must be leashed when outside the member’s residence, and shall not be permitted to roam free. Dog walking is strictly prohibited on the cart paths, golf course, and pool areas. Owners must clean up after their pets by picking up and properly disposing of all pet debris and waste.

Any member seeking approval for a service or emotional support animal must submit a letter from their doctor or medical professional attesting to the requested accommodation. Allergies and/or fear of animals are not legitimate reasons for denying access or refusing service to an individual with a service or emotional support animal. All emotional support animals other than common household animals such as cats and dogs, must be approved by the Board and registered (with a photograph) with Glen Eagle prior to entering the community. Members must obtain an accommodation from the Club for emotional support animal training by submitting reliable documentation establishing that such animal requires service animal training. Trainers of such animals must be properly certified and registered with the Club if such trainer will be conducting training within Glen Eagle. While engaged in training of such an animal, a trainer shall have the same rights and privileges as the owner of such animal with respect to Club facilities access and the same liability as the owner of such animal for any damage caused to property or individuals; provided, however, that the owner must accompany the trainer at all times. The service or emotional support animal must at all times be under the control of its handler and must have a harness, leash, or other tether, as well as a “training coat” stating that the animal is a service or emotional support animal.

The member may be required to remove pets, including service or emotional support animals, if, by vote of the Board, the pet becomes the source of unreasonable annoyance to others or the owner of the pet fails or refuses to comply with any of the restrictions set forth herein or in Section 7.24 of the Declaration
