Most home inspectors charge through an a la carte menu. Every buyer will get the general inspection that covers the visible defects in the home and then a mold/air quality test can be added, as can a radon test.
It is important to note that you should not be afraid of a home inspection report. The fact of the matter is that even brand new construction will have defects! It then becomes my job to help you navigate through the remediation.

What Happens After the Inspection?
Once your inspector has finished looking through the home, the home inspector will email the report to the buyer’s agent and buyer. From there, the buyer’s agent reviews the report and prepares a list of items needing repair or a monetary credit. Later, the buyer’s agent will negotiate with the seller’s agent to reach a resolution on the issues.
